Artificial intelligence and machine-learning engineering.
As AI moves from being a cool gimmick to everyday necessity, I want to be the person who both pushes the technical boundaries and advocates for ethical, human-focused deployment, ensuring this technology improves lives at scale rather than just being impressive on paper.
I'm Victor. Class of 2027 student at D-PREP International School, based in Thailand.
My focus is AI and machine-learning engineering. As AI moves from being a cool gimmick to everyday necessity, I want to be the person who both pushes the technical boundaries and advocates for ethical, human-focused deployment, ensuring this technology improves lives at scale rather than just being impressive on paper.
In practice, that has looked like shipping an autonomous hydroponic-monitoring robot driven by a locally hosted vision-language model, leading the largest student-run event in my school's history as Student Body President, and running REK.dev, an AI and automation studio with a creative engine that has crossed THB 800,000+ in revenue serving creators with a combined 60M+ subscriber reach.
What ties it together: I like building real things for real users, and I like the people work that goes around them. Recruiting and mentoring teams, finding the through-line that makes a project worth doing, then putting in the hours to make sure it delivers.
How would you describe a good leader?
“A good leader is someone who isn't afraid to take initiative and turn ideas into reality. They lead by example, showing that responsibility and service are important to making a real and impactful difference.”
What change do you want to create?
“I want to help create an environment where students would stop waiting for instructions to make a change and start taking actual ownership of their community. I hope to leave a legacy where student-led impact is the norm, and not the exception.”

Hardware, software, and what happens in between.
Selected builds across hardware, embedded systems, and full-stack software. Utilizing AI in many different ways.
Elected to lead all student councils, represent the student body to administration, mediate between students and staff, and serve as the primary student voice in school-wide decisions. Oversaw Open World, Theme Week, and a new slate of student-led initiatives.
Elected by student vote to lead the council during my first year at D-PREP, which required trust and credibility built fast. Ran council meetings, represented student voice to administration, oversaw Open World and Theme Week 2024, and mentored younger student leaders.
Elected by house members for a year-long leadership role: representing the house to staff, organizing meetings and activities, leading at Sports Day and inter-house events, and driving overall house spirit and identity.
Led D-PREP Theme Week 2025 as overall organizer: daily activity lineup, recess challenges, house competitions, MCing key events, plus the custom live leaderboard platform that kept points, rankings, and announcements in sync across students, teachers, and display screens.
Designed and built the live leaderboard platform powering the week
Main organizer of D-PREP's Orientation Day. Designed welcome sessions, ice-breakers, and team-building activities to break down grade-level and friend-group barriers, and acted as a direct mentor for incoming students navigating an unfamiliar environment.
Overall student lead for Open World 2025. Contributed across multimedia (posters, videos, social), performances and emcee work, finance, and operations and logistics, while connecting between teams. Featured by a regional influencer.
Overall student lead under Student Council President role
Lead organizer for Theme Week 2024 as Student Council President. Planned the activity lineup, led events on the ground, coordinated with teachers on scheduling and scoring, and ran daily scoring and announcements while participating as a member of my own house.
Lead organizer, year before building the leaderboard platform
Committee leadership role at D-PREP's internal MUN. Setting agenda, moderating debate, guiding delegates through procedure, managing motions and resolutions, and helping run the wider conference.
Hosted closed conference. 20+ delegates and reporters.
National-level conference. Researched country policy, drafted opening speeches and position papers, built blocs across multiple days of caucusing, and contributed to a passed committee resolution.
Directed the school's haunted house fundraiser. Set design, scare choreography, and logistics, ending with THB 12,000 raised for the student-activities fund.

Grand Opener Video, D-PREP Open World 2026
Major step up from the prior year. A real-life to video transition: students live recording and performing the opening number, a cover of "Fallin'" that I produced with students singing it, to catch the audience off guard, followed by a 3D animation from outside the universe down to earth, into a drone shot flying to the school, where I am on the roof to welcome everyone. Fully edited, written, and shot by me, with my teacher Mr. Gareth helping with the welcome shot.

Beyond school: an AI and automation studio with real revenue, and creative-direction work for established creators.
Founded 2024
REK.dev
AI and automation studio with a creative engine: automation that does the work, creative that makes it land.
Started by creating my own YouTube channels and learning how the creators I admired edited their content. After a couple of years on the tools and freelancing editing on Fiverr, I grew it into REK.dev: an AI and automation studio with a creative engine. We build the AI tools and automations that make a business faster, then handle the creative direction and production that make them land. Most people who can build the system can't sell or present it, and most who can sell can't build. REK.dev does both.
Beyond editing, I really enjoy the creative direction side of YouTube: figuring out how to make captivating content viewers love. I learned with the best, including one of MrBeast's ex-retention specialists, and worked with YouTube-based companies on the actual pipeline behind their videos: directing, recording, and analysing statistics to understand the new age of digital content.

Industrial sensing, in practice.
2025
Kistler Instruments
Thailand
Worked with Kistler Instruments Thailand to learn about the mechanical engineering behind industry measurement systems and sensors. The team walked me through the products Kistler sells to other manufacturers and showed how sensors play a major role in manufacturing, particularly on the automotive side.
During that time, Kistler had a showcase at a large manufacturing expo. I worked alongside the specialists on the sales floor, learning how to explain, demonstrate, and sell the products to industry visitors, and saw firsthand how the sales and engineering sides of the business work together.
